Realme GT2 Pro gets ever closer to its international release

Realme's upcoming GT2 Pro Global Edition has recently passed NBTC certification in Thailand, has been listed on Google Play Console and is being tested on Geekbench. All of these moves show that international launches are just around the corner since they first hit the Chinese market earlier this month. The GT2 Pro for the global market will use model number RMX3301, which has been confirmed once again with NBTC certification.
The inclusion in the Google Play console further solidifies its international launch.
Finally, the launch of the RMX3301 prototype from Geekbench suggests that the international GT2 Pro will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, like its peers heading to China. It will likewise run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top from day one. The prototype that was benchmarked had 12GB of RAM, but there may be a version with 8GB too that's the case in China at least. Hopefully Realme gets round to the official launch soon.

In the meantime, while we wait for that, let's recap some specs, so you know what to expect. The GT2 Pro was billed Realme's first ever proper flagship device, and it comes with a 6.7inch 1440x3216 120Hz AMOLED touchscreen, 128/256/512GB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with 150degree fieldofview, 3 MP microscope with 40x magnification), a 32 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 65W charging (zero to 100% advertised to take just 33 minutes).
