The Realme 9 Pro+ will be Europe's first Dimensity 920 phone

Realme is a huge fan of the MediaTek Dimensity chipset, especially when building cheap 5G devices. The company launched its first Dimensity 810 phone and first Dimensity 1200 phone in India last year, and the first Dimensity 920 phone on the to-do list will be launched in Europe.

This is part of the so-called "All in 5G" strategy that begins with the launch of the upcoming Realme 9 series. The first Dimensity 920 phone in question is the Realme 9 Pro+.
The 920 chip is manufactured on TSMC's 6nm node and has two CortexA78 cores (2.5GHz) and six A55 cores (2.0GHz), a MaliG68 MC4 GPU and a 5G (sub-6GHz) modem. It supports 1080p+ displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz and should deliver 9% better gaming performance than Dimensity 900.

The plan is simple when it comes to strategy. The introduction of cheap 5G phones in Europe continues to drive the already impressive growth. Below is a chart showing Realme's growth in several European countries over the past year compared to 2020, and it's just a series of numbers!
