Apple's March event will take place on March 8

Apple plans to hold its March announcement event on March 9, people familiar with Apple's plans told Bloomberg. Apple is expected to announce new hardware, including the new iPhone SE model, possibly with 5G connectivity, as well as a refreshed iPad Air and a refreshed Mac Mini with Apple Silicon updated at the event.
In addition, Apple aims to release iOS 15.4 publicly in the first half of March. iOS 15.4 (currently in public beta) allows users to unlock the iPhone using Face ID when they have the mask, as well as universal controls and the new emoji.

Coming to Apple's upcoming event, the updated iPhone SE is expected to come with similar looking cameras, a new chipset and 5G connectivity to the current SE (2020). The A15 bionic chipset is working on a refreshed iPad with 5G connectivity and a 10.9-inch display. The Mac Mini could be a refreshed model with the M1 Pro and more Apple Silicon options like the M1 Max or M2.

Sources say that even though the launch event is almost a month away, the event may be postponed due to delays in preparation. However, the event will be presented in a high-production, pre-recorded format that will be streamed live.
