In an effort to boost hype for its upcoming Realme 9 Pro series, the company has announced that they will be introducing innovative "chameleon" colors.
Both the Realme 9 Pro and Pro + models get a chameleon-like option that changes color depending on lighting conditions. Realme calls it light shift design.
After the arrival of the RealMe 9 Pro series in Europe, they are going to be the first handset on the continent with such a feature. It's going to be available for two devices called Sunrise Blue. But after being exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet rays, it turns red in five seconds.
Realme says it had to go through more than 200 trials and errors before finding the right formula for material and paint thickness, which allows for faster color transition over time. The dual layer photochromic process adds an organic composite layer that allows up to 40% faster color transitions.
We saw a similar color design when the Vivo V23 series launched in India a few weeks ago, so we knew what to expect. The Realme 9 series has been widely discussed over the past few weeks as a lot of rumors and teasers have been revealed.
Realme has not yet announced the exact 9 Pro Duo launch date, but it should not be too long.
