9to5Google has reported that Lenovo's Android 12L Beta 2 is pushing the Android security patch level of the Tab P12 Pro through December 2021, but there is no mention of this on the company's website.
It is also worth noting that at the time of this writing, Lenovo has not shared any Android 12L release notes for the Tab P12 Pro, and the software limitations listed on their website have remained unchanged from previous betas. The problem didn't go away. It hasn't been fixed or Lenovo hasn't updated the list.
You can download the 1.7GB Android 12L Beta 2 update package from the source link at the end of this article and flash it on your Tab P12 Pro. There are also installation instructions. However, the build only supports the WiFi version of the Tab P12 Pro available outside of China with model code TBQ706F.
Also, we do not recommend installing Android 12L Beta 2 if your Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is your primary device, as the beta version often contains bugs that prevent it from working.
Google is expected to release Android 12L Beta 3 in February, with final build scheduled for April. It remains to be seen whether the Tab P12 Pro gets a third Android 12L beta or if Lenovo moves to the final version.
