The vivo Y21A is officially compatible with the Helio P22 SoC and the 5,000 mAh battery

This month, vivo was busy expanding its product portfolio in India with the launch of five V23, V23 Pro, Y21T, Y33T and Y21e smartphones in Asian countries. However, it's not done on Vivo yet as the phone manufacturer unveiled another phone in India called the vivo Y21A, the successor to the Y20A announced in December 2020.

However, the vivo Y21A is not an entirely new smartphone. Just as the Y33T is a version of the Y21T with a few different specs, the Y21A shares the same design and most of the specs as the Y21e. Let's start with the fact that the Y21e comes with a Snapdragon 680 processor and the Y21A comes with a Helio P22 chip. The smartphone also boots Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 instead of Funtouch OS 12, but with more built-in RAM (4GB + 1GB virtual vs 3GB + 0.5GB virtual). Another difference between the Y21e and Y21A is that the former has an 8-megapixel f/1.8 selfie camera while the latter has an f/2.0 aperture.

The rest of the specs remain the same. Namely, 6.51" HD+ LCD, dual cameras on the back (13MP native + 2MP macro), 64GB storage (expandable up to 1TB), fingerprint reader on the side finger, 3.5mm headphone jack. , USBC and 5000mAh battery (18W charging).
